CurEnt Group's inception began when Joel Menzin and Lee Barkalow saw a gap in the entertainment, lifestyle and travel space. Their vision was clear....present clients with unique opportunities and access.
More than a standard "Concierge" company, CurEnt set out to provide clients with unparalleled access to a variety of exclusive, "one-of-a-kind" experiences, thus branding the "Curated Entertainment" space. A multitiered agency, CurEnt Group marries experiential with production and travel. Changing trends and continued demand confirmed what they already knew........Long gone are the sidelines restricting folks on how they "play" but rather the freedom to "choose your own adventure".
With both strong B2B and B2C platforms, CurEnt has created an agency that changes the way our clients are able to entertain, experience, market / brand and fundraise for cause.
Forward-thinking while continuously evolving, CurEnt aims to not just keep up but rather trail blaze ahead in the space. Combining hands on personal service matched with a growing tech platform, allows the experiences to reach the user live or virtually alike.
Our passion to create and share those experiences with the world has driven us to never make any experience the same more than once. Each has its own incredible story to tell.
Lee's career in entertainment spans over 10 years. His background includes working at Paradigm Music and WME (Endeavour) Music along with multiple start ups. Growing up in Northern California, Lee's influences are far and wide as a creative who has remained both a part-time fan and part time skeptic of traditional business practices. Lee has believed in creating businesses that embody quality over quantity.
Over the past years, Lee's career has led him to collaborate with some of the top creatives and leaders in his industry, sparking the idea to mesh both hospitality and the world of entertainment - leading to the creation of CurEnt Group.
Joel Menzin has worked in Entertainment for over 20 years. He began his professional career in New York at NBC, working in the talent department of Saturday Night Live. Menzin was involved in all aspects of talent, from assisting in booking hosts and musical guests, to marketing and coordinating public relations for the show.
After leaving Saturday Night Live, Menzin joined Richard Bransons V2 Records where he worked in the Artist Development department. He organized advertising and marketing campaigns in addition to working in the creative process of making records. Menzin worked on projects from The White Stripes to Moby and he produced the Grammy Award winning record by Toots and The Maytals, “True Love” in 2004.
Before starting Flood Street Management, Menzin had been successfully consulting various projects from a marketing and branding perspective, ranging from Playboy and Superbowl as well as working with notable athletes, recording artists, models, on-air hosts and Celebrity Chefs.
In 2018 Joel saw a gap in what he knew was a need in the entertainment space. Watching the trending interest for a "one stop shop" for unparalleled Access, Experiential and "Curated Entertainment" Joel teamed up with Lee Barkelow to create CurEnt Group.
